I don’t know why the US coverage of figure skating insists on talking over the performance. Do like the other countries and talk about all of the scoring and such while they are warming up. It’s disruptive to viewers.

I’ve pretty much had Hulu since I was a beta tester years ago. I hope Spotify can work a deal with Disney so that we can keep our Spotify/Hulu bundle as Spotify/Disney. So many shows I haven’t finished yet.

I’m about to cancel YouTube TV. The only thing I’ll lose is live sports in a Winter Olympics season. I can still use the standalone local news station apps since ABC is no longer on YTTV. National news is crap. PBS/NPR will have to fill that gap. Even “military grade” antennas don’t work in my area.

Dramas are easier to access. Typically they have a happy resolution, movies notsomuch. K-movies usually use a higher level of language which may make subtitle reading slightly difficult. Comedy humor may not cross cultures.

One thing I notice about world competitions recently in figure skating and gymnastics is the genuine camaraderie. Still highly competitive events but a beautiful change in behavior. ⛸️🤸🏿‍♀️
