Hey LA! Join us on 3/14 for “Brave of Us: How to Ridicule a Ruler," an evening of satire and solidarity hosted by Sasheer Zamata. The show is a live comedy fundraiser supporting @ndlon.bsky.social, CIELO, and @haitianbridge.bsky.social – organizations on the frontlines of defending our communities.

The people standing between students and ICE? Teachers. With immigration enforcement keeping kids from class, educators are going beyond the curriculum — driving students to school, delivering groceries and even paying rent to support vulnerable families.

“We wrote letters to process our feelings, to give advice about how they should treat people differently because we felt like they aren’t treating people the way we talk about how we should treat others — the Golden Rule,” Nelson said.

ICE observer trainings expand to Greater Minnesota The Immigrant Defense Network is holding constitutional observer training in 30 cities across the Midwest, activating more residents to document federal immigration activity.

America calls itself "land of the free, home of the brave." What better embodies all of that than people who didn't just make a way out of none but are now fighting for their very survival with only their voices?

The purpose of these camps is to shield the torture, even as regime continues to peddle lies about who immigrants are. Everywhere we have won REAL change for people scapegoated, it has been shining light on who they truly are, not just on horrors enacted upon them.

Imagine the courage it takes to demand your dignity in the brutality of this concentration camp? The #BraveOfUS are showing the way - people who have moved heaven and earth to make a new life are continuing to demonstrate that same bravery.

"So we need to speak up. It doesn't have to be all the grand, big national things. It is even the small actions that create solidarity." Even the small actions are brave.
