Dr Beth Upton was fully acquitted of all wrongdoing in yesterday’s Employment Tribunal decision. Yet she has been vilified by a toxic & poisonous media for months.
It must stop!

Congratulations, and solidarity, to you, Beth!

I spoke in Parliament today to challenge the misinformation from those claiming this tribunal as a 'win' for the anti-trans agenda.

In fact it found Ms Peggie harassed a colleague for being trans, and it dismissed almost all her claims.

It also found that trans segregation is not supported in law.

It is what it is 🤭

#BBCLauraK suggesting a higher bar for accessing benefits for people with mental health issues is draconian & utterly bereft of humanity.

How about suggesting we adequately resource our mental health services so they adequately support people back to work, instead of languishing on waiting lists?

We were attacked by fascists on Saturday.

On Saturday, the Aberdeen Trades Union Council held its annual St Andrew's Day parade along with community groups and refugees. It was explicitly a march against fascism, so we were expecting fascists to show up. And they did.

Good point, well made. I accept no excuses for the shit show that is trans health care. But it is, hopefully, reassuring that some people in power do give a shit. Now we need to see words turn into action.
