Ngl I don’t understand perler bead “art” when people just copy some official or someone else’s pixel art… it especially bothers me when I see it being sold… like I don’t get it…

Prints (specifically poster prints) used to be my least favourite thing to draw for con prep.

My god my wrist is so sore and so bruised… the doctor said he was being aggressive with the injection today to help me get the most relief since it wore off so fast last time but holyyyyy this hurts rn as the anesthetic is starting to wear off 😩

The pain of traditional art. I feel this. I’ve been working on a painting on and off trying to fix it but now the paper texture has gotten weird from the layers of gauche and I’m like “yeah that’s it from me brother it’s fucked”

Bro I wanna draw so bad but I just got an injection today for my carpal tunnel and my hand is soooooo asleep from the anesthetic that I can’t even hold a pencil properly.

Every time I think about posting art or a wip, I start drafting the post and then I look at my art in the photo selector and then decide “no that’s not worth it. it will just make me feel worse to show anyone” so then I post nothing 99% of the time.

I hate when the art I’m making is turning out suspiciously good???? Like??? Im waiting to either A; fuck it up or B; lose all steam and just butcher it to get it down quickly

I like playing this fun game with my carpal tunnel that usually goes “use wrist more > wrist hurts more” and keeps me awake at night which isn’t fun. But I’ve recently unlocked the hack of “use wrist more > feel and control hand less” which is cool because then it also hurts less

I hate that I feel like I need to make my lines / lineart thinner to be “nicer” and to be more detailed. Because thin lineart makes my nice sketches look like ASS!!! I hate it here!!!! Fuck the thin line supremacy !!

WIP of the gauche painting I started almost 2 months ago and hated so I’m slowly painting over it to fix it.

All of the art pieces I’m working on right now have very dark colours and intense values… which is the exact opposite of what I find easiest to colour xD
