We spent the weekend feeding USAID into the wood chipper.

Could gone to some great parties.

Did that instead.

U.S. policy was to help bring an end to apartheid and establish a nonracial, democratic government. In response to this policy and the Act, USAID/South Africa was responsible for financing projects that apartheid victims viewed as critical in promoting social, political, and economic change through peaceful means.

The mission enabled community consultation and ensured that the United States did not impose foreign-defined solutions to local problems. USAID created projects and activities to respond to the priorities of the black community and its leaders, maximized black participation and leadership, and ensured activities had a linkage to the general objectives of U.S. policy.

First-year funding for the program was $25 million, which was raised to $50 million the second year. The main project areas were community outreach and leadership development to redress the repression of black-led institutions; educational support and training to address the educational crisis in South Africa; black private enterprise development to combat the inhibiting effects of apartheid–induced discrimination in private enterprise; university grants to help create a new generation of economic and political leaders; human rights; legal assistance; labor union training; and health and nutrition

It’s smokey so everyone in the LA area should wear n95 or kn95 masks while they’re out. Wind knocked down some trees and things, lost power for a wink but we good. I was gonna enjoy an edible but wanted to be sober if I had to dip 😭

Girl, you are bored or a bot. This is your 3rd post commenting this.
Go celebrate with your family or have someone short circuit your wires.

She doesn’t and they aren’t β€” she’s literally 12 and is tall for her age. She still moves like a kid.

And have you ever thought, this is what she wants to do!?

For all those who didn’t understand…

That was a very polite, demure, F*** you to the CMAs and that establishment.

Merry Christmas πŸŽ„

She’s saying what every blogger has mused and mentioned for the past two years. This didn’t just come out of thin air.

See… yall can’t saying this, but I don’t recall this AT ALL at the reunion. What I do remember is Garcelle telling Dorit, that she didn’t know if she really liked her and that β€œmaybe” they could find their way to a good place.

THANK YOU.

Everybody keeps saying she should move on for the sake of the show β€” but also claims β€œit isn’t real”. This is exactly how a black woman would treat another woman if they did this ish.

I think the fact EJ apologized and didn’t center herself in the apology, while Dorit continued to center herself in her apology.

I think she forgave her for the group’s sake.

DO IT. That was when HWs was fresh and all about the wealth. Also, you’ll kind of see why there was such a backlash against Garcelle in the first place.

But LVP was one of my fave HWs. She was thee game player β€” definitely not a saint and not unproblematic, but entertaining.

I’m not scared of anything nor did I insinuate that’s what people were going to do. Where did you come to that conclusion?

04.12.2024 19:33 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

It took me a long time to get on the whole Kyle is vile train lol β€” but the season she turned on her bestie, LVP, when her brother commits suicide and the group applauded her for it..I knew we were dealing with a different breed lol

I’m not disagreeing with you. I never said that just bc I think this man’s death is tragic or I don’t agree with murder doesn’t make me opposed to you or anyone suffering under the thumb of healthcare BS. I’m allowed to do both.

04.12.2024 18:25 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Which is why I don’t think it’s bullying. You said, you only started watching it for Garcelle and that’s cool β€” but she’s playing the game and being tame with it, honestly.

04.12.2024 18:21 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Ahhh..This makes sense now. I’m not saying that you don’t know what micro aggressions are, and it wasn’t my intention to insinuate you didn’t. But β€” this is just how all of them act, imo, specifically on BH. The barb throwing, the shade and the questioning are a part of the culture of the show.

04.12.2024 18:20 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

The reason I ask, bc we are quick to label people bullies, specifically black women. I don’t see it as bullying, it’s matching energy. Is it annoying (comical to me)? Yes, but it’s not bullying.
