If there were only one or two trillionaires who could pitch in for a cure. Just for the attention even. It wouldn't even be a blip in their portfolios. Imagine being in a position to reduce human suffering, but instead choosing to hoard your obscene wealth.

Not only does our insurance/medicare for all need an overhaul- but medical care in general does too. In cases like this you realize how drastic a gap there is in overall level of care, research, funding etc.

100%. I’m in NYC at MSK (memorial Sloan Kettering cancer center) for my son. Top notch doctors. Traveled because he is very sick/rare cancer. Best care if you/loved one has a rare cancer. And it’s Dawned on me how many people cannot get this care due to insurance or other cost. It’s Sooo unfair.

This is why we need
Regular Medicare for All.
Not just for everyday health issues, but also for those who need special care, doctors, and research.

It’s the only moral thing to do.

Sad that in the USA, science is looked at through a lens of conspiracy theories. Stupidity and paranoia will kill us. We need to ensure research is funded.
