I'm a huge fan as well. The problem that kept me from writing was that the woman my MC was in love with a Lady. She couldn't be because it would make things too hard for the MC since he has a certain set of circumstances to navigate. Once I made her a regular person everything clicked.

I don't write when I don't know where I'm going. So if I'm stuck, I need to go back over my work and see if it makes sense with the story I'm trying to tell. I figured out the problem with my current scene and haven't had a problem since.

This is really interesting to read. I just discovered something about my author self this morning. I like knowing I can still grow. I hope your plan works well for you.

I FINALLY figured out the real reason I wasn't writing. I thought I was just avoiding it, but I'd been trying to figure out what was wrong with what I was writing.

Now that I know I can get back on track because where I was headed wasn't where I was supposed to go.

The title of a murder mystery popped in my head years ago. Rose. Rabbit. Lie. The sequel was Rose. Rabbit. Die.

No idea what they're about, but I love the titles so much.

VampireWIP is hard to write because I have scenes that take place in the past. I thought about having the MC not be as old, but I don't want to change that about him.

I need to drink more water.

I JUST remembered that in a story I'm currently writing, someone important to the MC will be killed. It's a major turning point in the story.

I had to stop writing because it started to feel like I was making things up. I know that's what writing is, but your work shouldn't feel like it.

I like that. It makes the characters more real (at least to me) in that they have their own language. It would also make me pay closer attention.

#Febchantment The warding spell in my world (used to keep people out or eject them) is in ancient Greek. It has to be because it's old magic. All old magic spells are. They can't be translated and there's normally a phonetic pronunciation for you.
