If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

So, my daily bag is a tote bag. Cutest thing. It's got Arthur's and DW's library cards on it. Inside are 3 pouches. A girls girl pouch, a medical pouch, and a pen pouch.

And yet I somehow feel I need another one.

After a while, draft 2 took up all my available bandwidth. It all came crashing to a halt after I added a new character. I have so much stuff to throw out and rearange.

I had to do this with draft 2 of book 1. That's why I'm back to writing Hook. It's nice to give my brain something else to do.

Hook became captain of the Jolly Roger because he and the crew decided to mutiny. Why did they mutiny? Because the first captain decided people were cargo.

I think that sums it up.

This made me actually sit down and write down the ideas I currently have. It's 6 so far. Two ideas could have several book in the series. One is a duology (could be more) and I'm not sure about the rest. One idea is a very vague line that popped into my head. I'll deal with that later.

I called my husband the other day to write down an idea I had because I was driving and it idea popped into my head.

I have no idea who long I've been writing for. I'm going to take that as a sign to take a break.

I'll let you know how it goes! I want to get into her work so badly.

I wish I could get into it. Maybe I need to listen to it. I've realized some books I can listen to while others have to be read.

Since draft 2 is driving me crazy, I'm jumping back to Hook. Got some good ideas flowing that need to be written down.

I'm at the stage in my life where new comforters are exciting.

On another note, I bought the best comforter from HomeGoods. I was both comfy AND cozy last night.

I know I added a new character because it made sense, but right now I'm frustrated with trying to find ways to weave her in. I think I'm just upset with having to think too hard.

Maybe I need to pivot to something else and put draft 2 to the side.

I keep taking breaks from writing just to find myself stopping to write more.

It's a good problem to have, but I want to sit and do nothing and enjoy my tea.

And I'm back writing. I've got some good words in, and I'm hoping to get in more today. I have to remember I added in a new character. She's making things a bit odd, as I have to figure out where I should and shouldn't use her.

The problem with adding in a new character is finding ways to incorporate them. I just had to rework a scene because I forgot my MC has a bodyguard.

Should I chage my pfp to my actual face? Or should I keep the mystery? 🤔

I've written for like 2 hours or something like that.

I'm taking a well deserved break until Shut Up & Write later on tonight.

I think draft 2 will be a lot longer than draft 1. I had to add a chapter and added a few things that didn't exist in the first one.

I wrote for the first time in a long time yesterday. It was so good! I'm looking forward to get more words in tonight.

My laptop got delivered today! It's over a week early!
