Wow, absolutely adorable! Their bright, round eyes and little fingers are just too cute. While we do have squirrels in Japan, it's really rare to encounter them, so I'm very envious!

Honestly, when I took this photo, it was dim, and I couldn't see the fine details through the Leica's viewfinder, so I just released the shutter. As for the "repeating verticals," it was a real "aha!" moment only after you pointed it out. I really appreciate you noticing that!

What a wonderful photo! ✨ I love the sturdy feel of it, and the vibrant, refreshing color of that door is so California! The way the sunlight dapples the ground ("komorebi") is also beautiful, and you can almost feel how low the humidity is.
