C. DAI. Some of the most memorable characters (including from past games) and honestly one of the best twists. It's really hard for me to order them beyond that though, because I love them all for different reasons. This franchise sustains me...lol.

I just found a playthrough with this. Yep, she gives her romance lines, but nothing else. No 'but you do not have to go alone' or kiss. I found it very awkward! I suppose it's nice for those that did romance him, but don't want to follow. I've seen enough people saying their Inky would not.

Headcanons are definitely ok! When I say lack of understanding, I just mean we compare things we know and understand. From lore, I gather that the emotions felt from that time are beyond our understanding now. That being said, I didn't mean to come across judgemental. Like, go for it! Lol

100%. The devs have even said that emotions were very different than we understand them now. I think assuming they were romantic shows a lack of understanding what they intended.
