Mind-blowing that in year 2026, one can go to a federal court's website and not be able to find a newly issued major opinion. (Don't worry - I got it.)

I can’t think of a time when a lower court struck down a major administration initiative and Scotus DIDN’T grant plenary review. Perhaps I’m forgetting something but at a minimum it would be very unusual.

Emil Bove Attends Trump Rally in Rare Move for Federal Judge Emil Bove, a top Trump Justice Department official turned federal appeals court judge, attended a campaign-style presidential rally in Pennsylvania in a highly unusual move for a sitting judge.

For whatever reason, reporters weren’t allowed in to the dinner until after these comments were made. FedSoc convention normally very open to press but weirdly secretive when it comes to the big dinner.

Just to be clear, #SCOTUS has done nothing to indicate any interest in this case besides calling for a responseβ€”something that a *single* justice can request, and that is *not* remotely predictive of a cert. grant.

Everything else is standard practice for *all* cases filed in the Supreme Court.

Shutdown fallout: Court fights over Trump policies are being paused amid the government funding impasse.

DOJ is seeking delays across civil cases; in DC, the chief judge entered a blanket pause order, though cases involving requests for immediate judicial intervention are excluded
