(actually looking closer i see the bottom spoke sticking out from behind that long bit, which i guess might be the drive shaft from the treadle, but connected strangely? this still ends up being less wrong than a lot of spinning wheels in video games are!)

…flyer is what’s actually being spun from the raw (actually quite processed, you don’t want to spin straight off the sheep) fiber, which could be held in her lap or on a distaff (a big pile it gets wrapped around, of which there are many styles!). that’s what she’d be cutting either because 3/?

… motion of the drive wheel (itself powered by a foot treadle) to the flyer, it does not at any point directly contact the yarn being spun! as it stands it looks like she is holding and preparing to cut the drive band which would render the wheel useless until it was replaced. the yarn on the… 2/?

i’m sorry to report that the wheel is far from exactly right :( most notably, the drive band (the yarn going around the big wheel) appears to be going into the flyer (the spinny bit with lots of yarn wrapped around it); it should be connected to the side instead, as it’s job is to translate the… 1/?
