I’ve watched the show enough, that I can almost hear the AD in my head during particular scenes, but I still miss it, and not just for the obvious #Accessibility reasons. I miss the level of ease, The careful economy of words, the enthusiasm in the describer’s voice. Now, a character is missing.

As a very casual player, when I am playing a game on my phone, if I have the time and space, it’s helpful to set up a physical board and move pieces alongside myself and the computer. Makes it a lot easier to understand why certain moves work out well, and others cost you the game.

Many of you are freaking out because you've done the math and it's going to be very hard to finish that manuscript by New Year's.

That's okay. It really is.

Targets are to help you get words on the page. No one will know or care that you finish days or weeks after your date.

Just. Keep. Writing.

@malevolent.ca continues to be an irreplaceable experience. To witness Arthur and John‘s journey throughout the show has been a privilege. Watching tonight’s episode with everybody on the YouTube stream was delightful.

It’s been a little over a year since I wrote, “Here I hold, in my every breath, these ten words.” and a little over six months since I turned it into a #Poem for my #Substack. So, I offer it up, to comfort anyone who worries that their #Writing goal isn’t enough. 💜

New rule: If you can look at a TTRPG table where everyone's having a good time and say "Uh, you're actually doing it wrong" or even "You're actually wrong about how much fun you're having", then I don't have to respect your opinions on game design.

I thought the pacing of the first two episodes was fantastic, and I’m glad to say that the audio description is very good.

Normally, I like giving candy to trick-or-treaters with friends on Halloween, but the apartment gods decided it’d be more fun if I spent two hours locked in the bathroom. I’m grateful to my Landlord with his collection of skeleton keys, and that when none of them worked, he called the handyman. 💀🎃👻

The writing on Midnight Burger is always fantastic, but the characters of Hood’s Pocket feel so lived in and genuinely connected. It’s been a pleasure to witness the journey.

I also finally got to watch it recently and had a great time. I’m not a big Superman fan in general, so I was pleasantly surprised, and I thought all the actors were amazing!
