A New Approach to Predicting Malaria Drug Resistance Researchers at UC San Diego analyzed the genomes of hundreds of malaria parasites to determine which genetic variants are most likely to confer drug resistance.

We have a guest tonight - Found a lost dog (no collar, not neutered) in our neighborhood. Sheltering him for the night; I feel so bad we can't afford to keep him (Ziggy and Bilbo are already very demanding.) It makes me sad to have to surrender him tomorrow.

I always have fun including the mascot of the school I am giving a talk at because they are usually warm-blooded animals, thus can be infected with Toxoplasma. Today will be an exception: the mascot is a SHARK!
