Also, literally everything shit that's happening now is the result of our political/media class fighting tooth and nail to prop up the Thatcherite consensus. Brexit, austerity, anti-immigration, targeting minorities. All to keep the clearly broken system going for a little longer.

In such stark contrast to the closing credits too. Always felt like a journey from bleak to euphoria.
