They were part of the plan by the leadership-have the Senators that are resigning or not up for reelection in 2026 vote to reopen. That takes the heat off the rest of the the Dems who can still vote no and make it "look" like they held the line.

Pay attention to what Democratic candidates are saying right now. Find and support the fighters. Having a spine must be a litmus test issue in 2026 and beyond.

Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.
