I think the phrase “I made __” is going to become a joke.

Well, you might get lucky!!! Luck 🍀 is always a factor. And the categories, blurb, cover, etc have a lot to do with it, as well.

But you probably went into the author life with more realistic expectations than I did. That is the healthy way.

Ouch, sounds destructive.

I was hoping for 1000 true fans with my first completed 6 book series. It’s an awesome labor of love, unique and all that.

Maybe my next series will gain some kind of visibility.

I do write crossgenre stuff, and I don’t chase trends. That makes it harder.

I read an absolute ton, but I can’t make time for all the books on my list. There aren’t enough years in a lifetime.
