It was particularly useful for dealing with tunnelers.

I never experienced the perma fog myself, I can't speak to that. But the vials being an unlimited use was not particularly game breaking. I had plenty of killers fuck us all off right through them. But it introduced a fun new mechanic/hail mary aspect when wounded. Limiting it to 2 charges just meh.

Dead by Daylight introduced one of the better changes to gameplay they have in some time...and then promptly nerfed it into absolute uselessness all in just like 2-3 weeks. As if I needed more utterly useless crap in the bloodweb *stares at his 15 million bp*
