POTUS needs the approval of either the US Congress or U.N. resolution support to attack.

If neither are given, it's illegal & under international law equates to a war crime.

I was a cook in a Patriot ADA unit back in the day.

I can tell you those things did NOT work as well as advertised. They were notorious for breaking down. While in Saudi, our guys couldn't even launch their missiles fire a month because they were in such bad shape.
