On the 22nd of August, a Farm Dweller Indaba in uMshwathi Local Municipality was held, a first of its kind. A proposal was made through AFRA by a Community Based Organisation that is in partnership with AFRA called Qina Mbokodo.

On 06–07 August 2025, AFRA, with the support of SERITI, conducted a comprehensive training session with farmers.
This was Part 2 of the Introduction to Agroecology Training, focusing on key topics like the Principles of Agroecology, Food Sovereignty, Biodiversity, recycling, and polyculture.
