I agree it's unlikely to change, but I would argue that Felling pushes the needle towards even less variance in FaB on a macro level, because it homogenizes decks. When you sit down against a Florian, there's no "I wonder if they're on the disruptive build or the aggressive numbers build"

(nor should there ever be, because Felling is a messed up card)

Imagine if Cadaverous Tilling was a 6 that came in for 9 when you decomposed, but Felling was always a 3 for 6 and decomposing only gave you the disruption effect. There might be an actual decision to be made between those two versions of the cards, but there is no competition to actual Felling

The best majestic cards are too powerful. There is no real decision to be made when you're building an Earth hero and decide to put Felling of the Crown in your deck. No other decompose card comes close to competing with it on any axis.

Those 3 heroes all being in the Top 8 is almost poetic. Also, look how stacked that Top 8 is! And the game's first World Champion is also the first LL Calling Champion. Format balance issues aside, you've got a perfect first Living Legend Calling for the FaB history books.

I think the coolest part about the Chicago Calling Top 8 is that the first 3 heroes to hit Living Legend in the game were all represented. Starvo and Chane were the first to hit LL in CC, but Viserai beat them to the punch by LL'ing from Blitz a couple months earlier. #fabtcg
