For her cutie mark, I wanted to emphasize her speed-devil personality more, so I went with something like a rainbow-flame speedometer, but still kept that original cloud for the whole pegasi/flying element. And that's her pet tortoise Tank!

4 1/2 panel comic, i'm a dumb human dweeb in shorts when a Rainbow Dash cutie mark zaps itself onto my flank and GLOWS and SPARKLES. Then 2nd panel rainbows shoot around everywhere and a rainbow tail bursts out behind me and I get cuuriver and blue as it's apparent I'm becoming Rainbow Dash, freaking out a little at first but it's AWESOME, as I hold up my hands-becoming-hooves. Then 3rd panel I'm almost fully changed as I kick off my useless not-cool human rags, cause Rainbow Dash doesn't need those! Then finally I'm just Rainbow Dash, obviously, and I'm kickling back and laying on a cloud holding up my old sungleasses and winking at the viewer.
