yead. Maybe I'm cynical but not sure genomics is going to be quite the gamechanger it is sometimes seen as - possibly because it needs to be backed up with services that act on its findings.

yes. I think some of what has been thrown at Liz Kendall recently has also verged on misogyny.

Not sure about the comparison but what is happening in the US at the moment is an enormous opportunity for other countries which can offer a better working environment. Question is whether it is a 3 year opportunity or whether some scientists will stay beyond the next US election.
