If you’re looking for Young Magazine, Kinokuniya NYC just put more copies out. The staff thought they were supposed to save them for cons. When I asked if they had any, their manager was like “No, you’re supposed to put those on the sales floor for people to take.” 😅

I'm glad you had a better experience than I did. I didn't hate the film, it just had pacing issues. Even intercutting between the fights would have gone a long way. It didn't feel like I was watching a movie; it felt like I watched a season of anime on marathon mode without taking any breaks.

It's funny that you mean MyDuD. I tried to read the manga after watching the first season but stopped after the first volume because it was so faithful. I was like, "Damn, I guess I'll just watch the show."

This has been a problem with modern anime for some time now. No one is adapting for the anime version anymore. They're just using the manga as storyboards. A lot of people praise this because they want the anime version to remain faithful, but it often leads to problems with pacing.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle was exhausting. When I read the manga I knew it would be difficult to adapt because it's a nonstop fight spanning nearly 10 volumes. While it was easier to follow, it overstays its welcome. They could have easily cut an hour from the runtime without anyone noticing.

Thinking about going to Full Gear in New Jersey. I only peripherally follow AEW. I feel like I have a good handle on the major players. My biggest concern is the length. Is that normal for them or was All In a special circumstance cause it was their flagship show?

I’ve been putting it off cause I was waiting for a sale, which paid off because it was free on PS+ for August.

I know I’m late on this, but Lies of P is so freaking good. It’s basically a spiritual sequel to Bloodborne. I’ve played a ton of Soulslikes and this the first one that’s really nailed it on all fronts. If I didn’t know it wasn’t From, you could lie and I’d believe you.
