She's a giant economy sized marshmallow and a very fun character, because she's harmless and sweet natured. She even has an otter as a (platonic) boyfriend, Doohan Lackey Otter, who's one of those giving her a fluke-rub. She's a sucker for those.

Sylia the macro whotter (whale-otter) sitting on a beach and getting a rub to her tail flukes by two dear friends, Doohan Lackey Otter and Aether the pterodactyl. She's just blepping and enjoying every moment of it.

Possibly a dumb and completely out there question, but how would he enjoy meeting someone in a *completely non-vore* (and non-fetish) context?

I've a character I save specifically for SFW stuff. She's a macro whale-otter named Sylia who loves meeting other otters, Tiny or Big.

Your husband is adorable. I miss going to MFF; I remember it when it newly separated from DucKon!

What Techwolf said. It's entirely generic. I don't mind derivative plots that are both entertaining and throw in some new twists. I've seen lots of movies that are derivative but all kinds of fun, and totally original movies that totally sucked. But they're the exceptions, sadly. This isn't.

On the one paw, I've used this threat before when a predator was rude enough. Because I've had protection that makes me digestion proof for decades.

But on the other paw, I try to find a solution that works for everyone, not just me. And if there is none... then I ain't staying in there long!

Secret is, keep your pred fed while you're in there. Then they won't know the difference (or won't care).

Aaaand hilarity results. Not often I abuse one of my own characters like this, but this was far too funny not to do.

I've gotten in major trouble in the past doing these role reversals, so I made 150% sure it was okay with the artist first!

The first page of Petal the ostrich, young, brash, and confident, vs. Postle the kangaroo, a character of Dweet-Tea's and the apex (and most experienced) predator in the zoo. Fight! Petal, mostly by beginner's luck, manages to get the drop on Postle when she's taking a drink at her pond. The ostrich swallows Postle down in one huge gulp. Petal got to count coup, but then came the consequences. Postle launches Petal by booting her right in the underfluffies and lands her in the pond, Wile E. Coyote style. Is the punishment over for Petal? Oh hell no.

... with a truly intense boot to the belly, Petal finds herself going flying right out of the water, and smashes into the outer wall of Postle's enclosure. And it ain't over yet. Using her belly a second time, Postle launches Petal off the wall, and smashes her headfirst into the tree where her tire swing is. It's a K.O.! And Petal, surrendering (not that she had a choice!) lays Postle out in an egg as normal. The last panel is Postle rubbing her hands together, having taught this young upstart predator that it isn't so easy getting the drop on old Postle! A rare post from me. Why? Because it involves a pred made prey-for comedy, rather than a true role switch.

My recently created character, Petal the ostrich, is young, brash, and overconfident, and decides to take on Postle, the apex predator of the Dweet-Tea's zoo.

I plan to, believe me!

Because he's a class act, that's why, and game recognize game. :-)

His partnership with Nicodemus could be seen from space. Nicodemus was a Sorceror King and the second most powerful force locally. They also *respected* one another, the ancient dragon and ancient mage nearing the end of their days. Their glowing yellow eyes gave the whole game away.

The Great Owl in particular was an interesting character, and if you read as much fantasy as I do he was instantly recognizable: A neutral draconis anciens that would sooner eat you as look at you, but would give you a fair hearing if given a reason.

Secret of NIMH was quite specifically remade as a swords-and-sorcery epic on that micro scale. You had a BUNCH of archetypes there: The peasant girl in the middle of huge forces, the noble captain of the guard, scheming nobles, a man-eating local hazard (the cat), and a "Great Wyrm" in the Owl.

Fayd is freaking awesome and I (in my alternate account) will never forget my massage treatment of the beautiful rogue youkai.

(Nobody else got the full Photoshop enhancement treatment. That should tell you something of how I felt about Fayd and your art!)

Ooooooh, a slime/goo critter! I completely derped on that. Well, if you want to get an idea of the local scene, that's an unusual but effective way to do it!

Few guess my accent either. I'm Midwestern and live in New York State. Upstate NY doesn't have much of an accent either, so I fit right in!
