We will see what happens. Trying to tuck away funds in case social security is defunded. We could probably get by quite well in Portugal or Spain or Mexico on our Social Security and retirement. But without SSS, we would be hard pressed to get by anywhere. Being old has limits.

19.02.2025 17:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's a possibility. We don't want to lose our marriage. My husband has family that would be difficult for him to leave. That's not an issue for me.

19.02.2025 13:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So glad to know you are happy. Hope the next 10 years together bring you even closer.
I am ashamed of the country where I live. Wish we could find an attic in a friend's house in Europe where we could hide.

A fire truck is engulfed in parks and flames are seen on the hill. The entire photo is red and orange from the fire
A fireman with a hose runs across the front of a house in flames in the background
The inside of a house is a ball of flames. The only visible thing inside is a burning Christmas tree
These extraordinary photos of the LA fires have been shared widely on social media, often without crediting the photographer.
