Imagine spending your whole life cos-playing and fantasizing about fighting the federal government sending troops in against its own citizens only to root for the government when the moment finally arrives

We’ve leapt over a lot of red lines in the last week. But one I find most worrying is Trump/MAGA/ICE have ceased even pretending to claim some criminal pretext for cracking down on protected speech. It’s just straight up “if you criticize us, you’re getting throttled/arrested/disappeared.”

They weren’t. The left bought Tesla’s. Ant at the time Elon seemed like a cool guy. I say this as a former Elon fanboy and as a current Tesla owner (bought in 2007). I now think Musk is an abomination and should never again be allowed to speak at any venue of power ever again
