The political parties started out battling over who could do most good for the People. Now one party is blatantly saying the purpose of the People is to do good for that party’s would be king and his court.

We stop them NOW or we sentence our children to servitude.

I am a Democrat now. But over the years I have been Dem, Republican and Independent. I have voted my conscience.

When did loyalty to a political party replace loyalty to the Constitution? When did we decide it’s not rape, lying & theft if our political party does it?

When you lose your farm, when your kid is yanked from sleep & zip tied in middle of the night, when it is your daughter who is victim of an “epic“ rape, when your child dies of appendicitis b/c you hv no insurance, you can console yourself with the knowledge that your country has a ballroom.

I wish I didn’t feel we were pawns in Dem power plays as much as we are in Rebubs. Dems are paid handsomely to do their jobs. T is breaking the law and defying the Constitution. Why can’t they figure out how to stop him without constantly asking for more money? Where is the courage? The resolve?

So our nation is celebrating the men and women whose courage and sacrifice gave us freedoms that are now being taken from us? In future will this holiday will be about remembering when we were free? Or will that be a punishable offense?

Email after email from Dem leadership saying we can stop T, hold him accountable, get control of the House, etc.

Al I hv to do is give $5 more, $20, $50. & sign a meaningless petition.

How much of our $ is being used to raise more money? The strategy isn’t working. Something has to change.

I hv read that over half of those receiving social security are women. I wonder how many of those women are wives al? mothers who didn’t work outside the home. I don’t hear T T & company rushing to reward those women for their choices. They claim to value women’s “traditional” roles. Sure they do.

Everyone wants there to be a grand scheme behind all of this but the terrible truth is that extremely stupid people are in charge and they have a fanatical devotion to wrong, childlike concepts of society and economics cooked up by right wing radio hosts in order to sell tainted dietary supplements

Almost 90% of US adults over 65 receive Soc Security. More than half are women. If Trump is so concerned for women, the most impactful thing he can do is NOT take away the Social Security we have worked decades for. To do so would make millions of old women homeless and hungry.

nteresting that when the need is perceived to reduce spending, the jobs and salaries of regular people are the first and most popular targets. Never any suggestions for reducing Congressional jobs, salaries, expenses. Maybe we should re-think that.
