Just finished up Richard Evans’ Third Reich trilogy, and I gotta say, after 2000 pages of Nazi Germany, getting to the end chapters where Hitler and his boys all kill themselves and the Red Army occupies Berlin feels extraordinarily satisfying.

I really am at a loss at the Nuzzi story. I’m not some old head, I worked on the hill for 5 years and on campaign for 4, but still, I have never heard of someone doing such a thing before. It is truly one of the most vile things I’ve ever read about a journalist.

Well there’s your problem. Parochial schools are all full of freaks and should be banned outright.

To be specific: I have never heard of such a thing happening to anyone I know, at any stage of school, in my life.

My high school band teacher was fired for similar antics. All it took was one kid to record a couple seconds of this guy yelling - not even cursing - at kids and he was gone in the middle of the year. This was in like 2008.

Right, this is frankly how it should be, and largely is how it is in developed parts of our country.
