Both have pros and cons but Crystal > Aether imo. Crystal's for hanging out and having fun with the game, Aether is for getting shit done as efficiently as possible.

Pretty much everyone knows what they're doing and wipes aren't as typical. But NO ONE wants to talk. Makes doing old content incredibly dry when no one will meme along with you during Crystal Tower. Plus, when someone is struggling, they're usually silent and ignore any tips you put in chat.

Grew up on Crystal, now on Aether.

Crystal has GREAT vibes. Most people are willing to yap in party chat in the middle of dungeons. People aren't as hardcore and stuff might take a bit longer, but if someone's struggling, they'll actually talk and be receptive to tips. Aether on the other hand...
