This broken and fragile man will not avail in bringing your lost sheep to Jesus. No, he will bring them to loathe your prophet by spreading hate and division in his name.

They crossed a threshold they claim they never drew, one marked not by merit or kindness, but by the comfort of unchallenged beliefs. They chose this, and that choice—silent as it might have been—is unmistakable.

Yet, they implore me to love and follow Jesus? Is this following Jesus? If this is it, then that is no God that holds space for me anymore.

What cuts deeper is that this conviction doesn’t feel foreign. It doesn’t come from some distant, faceless group—it comes from the same voices that once taught me about fairness, about care without strings. Those voices, so steadfast before, now ring hollow.

They call it conviction. I see it as a callous joy in turning away the desperate, in stripping dignity from those who don’t conform to their narrow standards. It’s not principle. It’s malice dressed as righteousness.
