I was fortunate as my first role was because I was studying for the NVQ, wouldn’t have got it with just my GNVQ.

Apprenticeship for sure. Kinda how I started way back in 1997, had done a GNVQ at college for a year then got a job working towards an NVQ which involved a day a week in the classroom.
