I decided to split things into 3 eras.

MTG Cards "Rocksteady, Mutant Marauder" and "Bebop, Skull & Crossbones" sitting on my desk

Picked up surge foils of the Bebop and Rocksteady so I guess I need to build them now. Hopefully I can find something that isn't just counterslop to give it a bit more focus.

I picked up the precon and the team up box for all the neat cards.

MTG Card Surrak and Goreclaw

This card did not have a value over $5 in my head, but it sure is $10. 🫠

It's basically just Hoof Nissa and that's really just as an Overrun spell.

I want 3 of the Lairs, but the cost + tax had them at like $130 and I would rather spend that on picking up singles for decks.

I assume it would need some kind of text like Dauthi Voidwalker to specify opponents cards?.... but it seems doable

MTG Card Krang & Shredder

How fucked up would it be for normal formats if Azula and Krang put some kind of counter on the cards they exile so that future casts kept the ability to access those cards? Cause that's really the one thing I wish they both did.

Machine God and the Mech are on the list of possible adds. It sure feels like I'm dying for the sin on playing removal that can be repeated.

The play pattern of my shit getting knocked over while the jeskai midrange flyers deck kills the table unchecked fucking sucks.

MTG Card Don & Leo, Problem Solvers

Working on Don & Leo and I don't get how UW blink is supposed to convert any advantages into wins. The same feeling of constantly having people run up and kick over my sandcastle as Kirol, but at least with Kirol life totals tend to come down. Is the answer just combo and extra turns?

Whitemane Lion in Kirol. Beyond the basic mode of repeated Impact Tremors sometimes you double the ETB and pick up some other creature to retrigger.

Growing up one of my favorite memories was playing Turtles in Time with my brothers. I sucked but they dragged me along every time. I can vaguely remember when we beat a level we were stuck on for weeks. We were so happy. Maybe that’s why I’m so excited to play the turtle power precon.
