My very first attempt at banh gio! A steamed pork dumpling. Turned out pretty good! To help reduce my cholesterol, I used half vegan Ground beef, half pork. Also, experimented with konjac/glucomannan powder in the dumpling batter.

Woman wearing handmade hat (she made it!) And crocheted ear muffs (I made them for her!). Ear muffs have a flower design. Pattern: Overall, well written pattern. In the round where the petals are made, my count was consistently higher as compared to the pattern. So I ended up with 7 petals, instead of 6. Since it didn't really affect the final product, I went with it. Overall, guage is not entirely crucial, as it's easy to adjust the pattern to make the muff fit tje earuff forms that I had. So, it's easy enough to use fingering (I doubled-the fingering) or worsted.
