The Beach Boys podcast I listen to is up 2004 and they’re talking about how they should go back and redo the earlier episodes now that they like those albums more

It's very funny that Criterion Channel will just put any old trash on there

I noticed the echo and fixed it before I picked up Victor. It was a simple task for an award winning sound designer like me

Yeah, but there was Portland traffic. You’re just at home

Imagine having work done on your face which is so bad that people think you're just a different guy

Wow. Just heard audio of Brian Wilson singing God Only Knows from the 1960s. He's off-mic the entire time, but still

Still, other filmmakers like Tom Hooper will direct 8 features and bunch of TV and never improve their craft

It's always interesting to watch a movie by a filmmaker who made many films because they get really, really good at what they do. Even the "bad" movies have so much going on in them

I think it was specifically that he claimed he was responsible for a kid drowning. And then when the interview reacted to that in a reasonable way, he went "well, maybe not!"

I hope Max Landis gives an interview as deranged as Whedon did when he was attempting a comeback

Something I hear all the time when I ring people out is they go β€œoh there’s no sales tax in Oregon?” And it always makes me wonder how they got all the way here without buying anything

They interviewed the makeup/animatronics guy on here too and he talks about how when he works on anything now everybody tells him they want "to do everything practically" and he says "they don't really mean it, just like 25 years ago when they said they wanted everything done with digital effects"

I'm watching an interview with one of the director/producers on the blu-ray for this movie and he explains the only reason he has a cameo is so he could get health insurance through the Screen Actor's Guild

They should've tried ScreaIVI but they didn't go for Sc3am even if they did do Scre4m which doesn't even work

The Scream series goes from using arabic numerals to having the fifth film just titled "Scream" then roman numerals and then back to arabic

God, look at this. Check out how the camera moves and how it doesn't move. Tension builds with the cuts to the medium close-ups. That shock cut to the same angle slightly wider. And then how much they get out of the final shot, by having the actors reframe everything just by walking in
