Now Bowie will not leave Opal's side. He protects her, shares his food with her, grooms her, & cuddles up to her daily. He's learning to trust humans more and more every day. His beautiful whistles and calls are music to our ears and we love him for his inquisitive, curious nature.

After inviting himself into our Missouri barnyard, this striking gentleman was immediately taken with our spotted hen Opal. While we looked for his original home and weren't able to locate it, he was falling in love with Opal, and we officially welcomed him to The Gentle Barn.
