I don't know what you're seeing or why you're seeing it, but comments and "likes" aren't a good measurement of self worth. The attention is very superficial and fleeting. The rush in getting that attention is addictive.

I can understand the need of validation relating to oneself.

I love Japanese ukiyo-e paintings, so I tried my hand at creating a ukiyo-e-style version of “The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats.”

It implies you're putting in a minute and twenty seconds I imagine, which is 80 seconds.

Another fun tidbit about microwaves: If you open the door prematurely to the timer being finished, that is not the same as stopping it with the button. It will wear down the microwave faster.

Here's the signage I made that I placed on my iPad. BG art is by me. The idea was to use colored cables tied to signal where you stood career wise in tech.

I got some good feedback this time around.

So at @furryweekend.com , I ran for the second time my Furries in Tech meetup.

It's been a hit both times and I'm excited to continue doing these where I can.

I can't exactly host a career fair at a furry convention, but I can at least try to make some networking happen.

I think it's really easy to view conventions as big nebulous corporations, and then treat their staff as such when the cons do things you have issues with.

Con staffers are almost all volunteers who dedicate so much unpaid labor to making these things happen. Please treat them with some grace.

Some additional information:
- Despite Sched listing this as a panel, this is a meetup.
- You do not need to return or bring back the cable tie. Keep it or give it to a friend! They're practical.
- I've included two more categories for cable ties involving those in school/university and hobbyists.
