Absolutely, I just feel like getting it off my chest is helps me to not be so bothered by it.

For me, multi-streaming is like being on multiple live shows at the same time: all while being expected to treat each audience the same in reacting to them. I also think about how unmanageable that could become for me if suddenly those audiences exploded in size.

I just couldn't handle that.

Our plates are full and every stream you add multiplies responsibilities: mod, chat, monitoring stream quality, ect.

There is a point where you need to realize when enough is enough FOR YOU. Adding more things for the sake of "growth" isn't going to make you run any faster in this rat race.

Ultimately it takes time to learn the social, interworking, and networking of each individual platform.

I think the biggest thing they gloss over is that a lot of creators are just a single person. Many of us are already playing a one man band operation to begin with.

Even more than before I'm seeing folks preaching you have to multi-stream in order to maximize growth.

On one hand, yeah more platforms means more discoverability.

What I don't see being mentioned, is now your growing on multiple platforms and they don't all follow the same logic/patterns.

I think one of the things I hate about streaming is the know it all advice givers. I think it's pretty insidious how many folks go out there pitching their guides as if it is matter o' fact the way to make it big if you follow their advice. I honestly feel like I'm surrounded by car sales folks. 1/5
