yeah, it's been 14 years for me, but when it initially happened and for the 6 years that followed, I was in a very bad place mentally and emotionally. my nervous system has finally calmed down and I'm healing from that trauma, so now those 14 years are catching up to me, i think 🫠

today's my grandma's birthday, and I was totally fine until I posted a happy birthday message on Facebook, and now I can't stop crying. when she died, I was in a situation where I couldn't grieve or mourn properly, and I feel like it's all finally catching up to me
