It's not about "fairness" it's about having to watch sloppy play because of arbitrary bad conditions.
Why stop at snow and rain? Why not release bees and see which team can deal with it better?
Why not mandate all players shoes must be tied together in a game and see who adapts best?

Because it's a solvable problem. I want to see great player play at their best. Not introduce hindrances to slow them down and see who handles it worse.
If people like games in heavy rain or snow, why not just cover the field with marbles once per season? Or make everyone wear roller skates?

I'm almost done with Black Myth Wukong. Amazing game, I know I'm over a year late to the party but it's so good. Have had so much fun with it.
I enjoyed Astro Bot a lot as well but 20/20 hind sight ... How did that win GOTY over this?
