Ehh…I don’t know. The short answer, if I’m honest, is that with everything the last few years, I just no longer want to do this anymore.

....having finally moved on, it's just too weird and difficult in a 'looking at the wedding pictures after the divorce' sorta way. But I VERY much appreciate all of the work and thought that went into this and am honored, truly. Thanks, @caseyepsteingross.bsky.social and @pastemagazine.bsky.social

Very belatedly, Casey Epstein-Gross wrote at great length & consideration about the Meadowlands (which I guess is still my most recent record - ha) in Paste magazine. I admit, as I did to Casey, that I haven't read the whole thing but that's only because…

This is scandalous. The El Paso SPC is one of the few ICE detention centers owned by ICE itself. Members of Congress cannot legally be turned away from ICE facilities when conducting oversight. Yet these emails say Noem herself is deciding when and how Members can conduct oversight.

The Trump-Supreme Court battle is not really the crisis.

The crisis is here now. Trump is enacting an insidious coordinated attack on our institutions of democratic accountability, designed to crater democracy before next fall.

1/ A long 🧵to explain the plan & how we stop it.

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

Many products sold in the U.S. are made in El Salvador. In response to the El Salvador president’s statements today, we’re calling for an immediate boycott of all Salvadoran-made goods. Please help by listing any products or brands made in El Salvador in the comments below.

This country is becoming unrecognizable. What we’re seeing is state-funded fear. We’ve warned people: keep filming, go live on social media so these moments are documented and shared. This wasn’t a case involving masked ICE agents—but that’s happening too.

Bone chilling.

A court ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia to stay in the United States.

The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that he was illegally removed. Trump is pretending he won the ruling 9-0.

1/ You may not think this case means anything to you. But let me tell you why it does.

If you're protesting this weekend, know your rights when interacting with law enforcement, including immigration agents.

See you tomorrow, riches...

Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They're taking everything they can get their hands on & daring the world to stop them. On April 5th, we're taking to the streets nationwide to say: Hands Off! #HandsOff #April5
