Newly rediscovered from the archives! While there are few details regarding this original Edgar Miller painting, this piece depicting children at play is believed to be from sometime early in his career, likely in the early to mid-1920s. The only copy of the photo has been recolorized by EML.

Today from the Edgar Miller Legacy archive, an untitled lithogrpahic print of a landscape, c. 1920. While he is best known for his decorative design, Miller could not resist trying new mediums, and made many copper plate engravings in a variety of styles, especially during his teens and twenties.

Thanks to his delicate and delightful designs, Edgar Miller had many clients who also worked in various creative trades, as seen in these examples of printmaking work he designed for a fashion and costume designer named Gisela Bennati in the 1920s, from the EML archive.
