If you have a student who has trouble reading a voluminous amount of information but asks Chat GPT "Why did Washington cross the Delaware" and then ask dozens of follow up questions, it can be helpful. There's no need to totally shun it. Like everything else, use it intelligently.

With that said, I think the refusal of academics to embrace the incredible learning advantage that comes with using AI is totally absurd. Chat GPT is like having a conversation with every textbook written on a subject. It makes folks smarter.

There should be a required 5 day class for all 1st term congresspeople teaching basic congressional civics.

8 hours a day. 40 hours of learning the basics of your new job.

If the Real ID is the solution, then there should be pressure put on states by their legislatures to make the process as easy as it is in Arizona and apparently Maryland (per @crk10.bsky.social ). That would probably save millions of otherwise disenfranchised votes.

I'm sure it varies state to state, but here in AZ, it's very easy.
