Here in the US, many of us know that we are witnessing the fall of the US. That's why we're fighting to save it. We also know that the world is watching and we're hoping that they step in to help if necessary.

A 13 year old and ICE Weeks ago I wrote about 13 and 17 year old sisters who went missing in the world after ICE abducted their mother from a Worcester, Massachusetts street, leaving them parentless and in state care.

It’s worth noting that if a parent took a minor child across state lines without the permission of the other parent, that would be considered kidnapping. But I guess that’s okay when it’s the federal government.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
