it’s both interesting historically, and didactically in showing how people in the past have resisted oppression and spread community and media without the internet. queer people have always and will always be here whether we’re known or not

in a world where we feel so powerless and knowledge is power, i really feel so much more connected to history by learning about the history of oppressed people experiencing community and working together for a bigger purpose, this is a great one 🎧📚 📚💙
