Hoped we’d capitalise on the chaos brewing at Forest to give them a hiding today, but they were better than I expected and #NUFC were a little sub-par first half. Still, a deserved and relatively straightforward win. Yet another clean sheet too.

Match day. A win for #NUFC is essential and I’m confident we’ll get it, assuming a strong team put out. If it’s the same front three as against Union we should cruise it.
I can’t imagine Impostercoglu can organise a defence in a few days. Could ruin it a bit more, of course.

Watching the Forest match. Anything approaching a half decent set piece is going to get #NUFC goals on this evidence. Can’t even deal with a simple ball into the box.

Very good first half performance. Most fluid in attack we’ve looked this season. That second goal coming just before HT such a big mental boost as well. Excellent performances all over the pitch. Probably only Joe and Bruno that haven’t played that well. Lovely stuff! #NUFC

BDB at LB again it looks like. Maybe Hall is being carefully managed, or it’s just an extra bit of height against what I believe is a couple of big forwards for Union.

Absolutely. Good fortune there, looked a nailed on one from where I was. Arteta is either misunderstanding or misrepresenting what ‘clear & obvious’ is for. This was no longer subjective, from what I’ve read. Factual errors, even if they require multiple replays to establish, are overturned.

I’ve not seen it yet to be honest, but if Pope touches the ball first then it’s not a penalty and it would be the definition of a clear and obvious error.

First part of #NUFC senior double-header didn’t go well. Lost to a very soft penalty award, but in truth it was another disappointing performance. Don’t know if it’s the influx of new players & still settling them in, but it’s got to improve rapidly or promotion will be a pipe dream.

My post seemed to attract a very upset Liverpool fan for some reason. Felt it was fairly innocuous personally.

It would be delicious schadenfreude to see Isak continue his apparent honking level of performance for Liverpool longer term, but deep down we all know eventually he’ll click and start banging them in. We can dream that he flops and flops hard though.

It’s maddening. He’s not even been playing badly or anything, not that it would be an excuse if he were. All it risks is damaging the mental health of a young man. Absolute scumbags.

I wish Darren Eales the best of luck with his treatment. I’m grateful for his work in his short time at #NUFC. Nothing is ever perfect, but the progress we’ve made in his time has been phenomenal & the stick he has received at times was unwarranted in my opinion. Also #fuckcancer.

Lovely cameo by Woltemade. Obviously the opposition are well below Premier League standard, but his movement, quick feet & incisive passing were excellent. Signs that the players around him are getting on the same wavelength.

Very comfortable night overall for #NUFC and a half decent draw (home is key).
Good to see J7 back on the scoresheet, plus will have done Osula no harm getting a couple - these two are 2nd top scorer & top scorer this season now.
Could have had double-figures if chances had been away.

Expected a reaction from last Sunday’s disappointing performance, but sounds like things were much worse!
They are still only three points off top, everyone has dropped points so far, but it’s absolutely right that there isn’t much room to slip up again.

Thought Botman was impeccable, but Burn was similarly excellent. That’s some fight for the left centre back position. #NUFC

Defensively absolutely rock solid and a result I’d have taken pre-game. Disappointing lack of creativity, second half in particular. Not sure why Bruno wasn’t brought on, if he starts against Bradford I’ll be puzzled.
That was penalty all day for me. If it was outside the box it’d be given as a foul

Done reasonably well there, grown into the game. Looking very solid defensively, but not creating a significant amount. Have the bench to change things, if necessary. #NUFC
