I'm curious though how designers, writers, artists or simply any other profession that requires creativity holding up, how the AI adoption there?

In the tech world we are heavily adopting AI, we use it every day, we change the way we work. Not just the big tech, even small-mid sized companies are also evolving their engineering best practices.

I got assigned an oncall task. I didn't have much time to look into, then some internal AI agent decided to address the task and made all the code changes and sent it to me for review. The issue was resolved. I only spent a few minutes for reviewing AI code. Feels like living in the future.

I started to enjoy this whole "AI Orchestration" thing. I currently have 2 AI Agents running in parallel in different code bases and working on the tasks I assigned to them.

I also don't need to check the status regularly, it just notifies me when it's done.

Oh the future is exciting.

Behaviour:

- Once, when I asked it to create a diff, instead of creating a new one, it merged with the previous one and even sent it for review
- Once, when I asked it to write some code, it generated some code, but without prompting it directly sent it for review even before I reviewed the code

Code:

- Code quality is amazing. I had 0 hallucinations in 4 diffs (~700 loc)
- A few occasions of missing some cases when adding tests, but it was able to very quickly add them when prompted
- A few occasions of adding useless tests - I deleted them manually

I've been using Claude Code (with Opus 4.5) for the past 2 days and I want to share some observations.

TL;DR

- 99% of the code I have is AI generated, code quality is amazing
- I saw some behavioural issues, but not a massive deal

I made some code changes with AI and asked it to create a diff, it referred the changes as "changes WE made", not claiming all the credit, well done :)

I’ve been working on snapbyte since August. I started building it after realising I cannot find time to read content aggregators anymore. It fetches top stories from aggregators, summarises them multiple languages and creates digest based on user configuration.

A couple of years ago I hanged my childhood on my office wall.

This Christmas I got a game boy color for myself as a present to relive my childhood.

This is the most beautiful (or handsome - not sure if it’s a boy or girl) cat I’ve ever seen.

One of the neighbours cat and pops in every now and then to make my day better.
