I don't normally respond to AIArt posts, but you tagged #BobbinLace so here we are. The bobbin lace is wrong in so many ways. So now the question is, what is the point? Don't artists research the topic at least enough to know what it is supposed to look like? Did you check accuracy at all? #BadAIArt

Looks about right. Anyone who knows me will not be confused by words like "dinosaur", "dissent", and "boobtober" being in this list. 2026 should be just as interesting.

I haven't posted any wips in a bit, so here is what I was working on today. I've now finished several of the awareness ribbon keychains in various colors. Today I started on one that has three colors (purple/teal/pink). I hope to finish this tomorrow and get it blocked to see how it looks. #tatting

The fake AI books are the worst and Amazon is littered with them. It's infuriating because they are targeting people who won't be able to recognize that it's not real, then when they get ripped off they will get frustrated and stop trying to learn. It's not just tatting, it's all crafts. It's sad.

That second site is a garbage site that only serves to get ad revenue and drive referral clicks. If you scroll down a bit they even have a "review" of a tatting book that is definitely not tatting and is certainly AI, but a non tatter might not know that and follow the link to buy it. Disgusting.

Speaking of schedules, I will not be streaming this Thursday the 27th. I have made it this far without eating any meat in November (this was a challenge that resulted from my last fundraiser) but we did say ahead of time that Thanksgiving does not count so I will be busy stuffing my face. #Omnomnom

I've thought about this often. Imagine if in 4,000 more years the only piece of literature that is found is The Stand by Stephen King. Things don't last forever, how many works that are only hundreds of years old are already gone? How much will language and writing change over 4k more years?

What an amazing final total! What a wild month! The Boobtober team should be very proud, and the staff as well, this event ran smoothly because of them. I can't wait until next year!

For anyone wondering, the team did hit 20k, but it took an extra day so I won't be doing a 5k. But still super proud of the team, great job everyone!
