Really the only reasonable response that makes sense is people just saying "I'm not going to use discord anymore", which is a valid take. If you don't like it, don't use it.
The world CLEARLY has a pedo problem, and any steps that can be taken to verify people's identity, I am all for it.
The various world governments already have your data folks. You're blissfully ignorant if you think otherwise. You literally carry a camera and microphone and GPS device with you wherever you go. Almost every major government and bank database has been hacked at some point in our lives. Stop it.
