"A poem reassembles what is scattered, says John Berger. In bits of image or impression, I look for intimacies. Perhaps a poem is a dispersed organism that seeks unity."
Check out my new substack post; it is shorter, more lyrical than previous one. πΉ π€
What happens to holidays of places that no longer exist? I've spent the last three summers translating a brilliant poetry collection that dives into this question, and it's finally ready to find a publisher.
Read about it in my last Substack, share, and subscribe if you like π
My new piece on Substack is about imagery and how we can approach it as art therapists to understand ourselves and our work better. Hope you find it helpful. Or if you know of someone who might, please share with them. andreajurjevic.substack.com/p/pursuing-i...

My new piece on the GWA Substack is up!
Starting next Wednesday, Iβll be sharing free weekly articles on the interplay of word and image on my own Substack, Lovesong to Elsewhere. Subscribe if youβd like a little mid-week spark and boost: andreajurjevic.substack.com
Iβve started a Substack where Iβll be sharing about art, creativity, and poetry. Itβs free and meant to inspire those who like to keep their fingers in many creative pots. If that's you, check it out & subscribe. And if you know someone else who might enjoy it, feel free to pass it along π₯°

"To a large extent, the problems of poets are the problems of painters."
βWallace Stevens
