He's growing but his list of safe foods has been shrinking. I've started him on a meal plan independently because his doctor has dismissed my worries since he's still gaining weight. (But I don't want to wait to address it until it's an emergency!) The issue is that my budget is already really thin! My job has been giving me less hours and my son recently had his disability benefits revoked because according to them he's no longer disabled. (A huge win in my book! I've worked so hard to help him regulate and be less anxious. There was a time I thought he'd never talk, truth be told, but in all areas outside of eating, he is thriving.) The problem is, I need to pad my food budget while I'm looking for a full time solution to my financial woes. I have to offer him safe foods along with experimenting with tastes, textures, smells. I've thrown out quite a few healthy smoothie experiments already. I'm also in the process of switching his pediatrician until I find someone who is willing to listen to my concerns. I'm not one to ever ask for something without offering something in return, so if you help me feed my son, I'll make your fave characters have a nom nom together!
